Hacı İbrahim Demir Complex

Zabit Demir, the founder of our company, gave Ankara Ahlatlıbel a complex to keep alive the name of his father, Hacı İbrahim Demir. The building opened for worship with a ceremony on 17 March 2026.

A complex, not simply a mosque

With a 3,100 square metre interior accommodating 5,000 people at once, the building brings together traces of Seljuk and Ottoman architecture in a modern reading. The complex contains a Qur’an school, a library and reading room, a foundation building, a condolence hall and a car park; educational and cultural activities are held there and meals are served to visitors.

We did not stop at building it: Deha Altyapı still meets all its running costs — from the library to the kitchen, from the educational activities to the maintenance. What keeps a building standing is not the day it opens, but who unlocks the door the next morning.

For thirty years we have built roads, tunnels and bridges — all of them to reach somewhere. This complex is the somewhere itself.
