Hot mix asphalt is the standard surfacing material of modern highway pavement. Deha Altyapı produces the mix in its own asphalt plants and lays it with its own pavers and rollers, so quality is controlled across the whole chain — from production to compaction.
Mix design
Aggregate gradation, bitumen grade and optimum bitumen content are established by laboratory design. Binder and wearing course mixes are designed separately according to traffic loading, climate and the function of the layer.
Laying and compaction
Laying temperature, layer thickness and the number of roller passes are monitored throughout. Surface regularity, degree of compaction and layer thickness are verified after construction by cores and nuclear density measurement.
