We are looking for a Civil Engineer to be responsible for carrying out construction on our highway, tunnel, viaduct and infrastructure sites in accordance with the design, the technical specification and the programme.
Responsibilities
- Planning and following up site construction in accordance with the design and specifications
- Preparing the daily programme and planning crews and equipment
- Preparing quantity take-offs, progress payments and measurement files
- Technical correspondence and coordination with the supervising authority
- Monitoring subcontractor work for quality and programme
- Ensuring occupational health and safety rules are applied on site
Requirements
- Graduate of a Civil Engineering department
- At least 3 years of site experience on highway, tunnel or structures projects
- Familiar with Highways specifications, unit prices and progress payment procedures
- Effective user of AutoCAD, MS Office and planning software
- Able to work in site conditions and on a shift pattern
- Category B driving licence and an active driver
- For male candidates, military service completed or deferred by at least 2 years
